University of Minnesota Duluth

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) is a comprehensive regional university. Undergraduate students can choose from 12 bachelor's degrees in 75 majors. In addition to the two-year program at the School of Medicine and a College of Pharmacy program, UMD offers graduate programs in 20 different fields, plus six cooperative programs offered through the Twin Cities. UMD Information Technology Systems and Services (ITSS) provides the campus community with a high-quality, stable and reliable technology environment in support of the campus mission. ITSS connects the campus to the world with a high-speed, reliable and secure network and a state-of-the-art telephone system. We support students and faculty with quality high-technology classrooms, research tools, and computing laboratories. Our help desk, information resources, training services, computer repair center, and desktop support services empower our faculty, staff, and students to make the most of available technology solutions. Our computing systems provide centralized services for communication, computation, and data management. ITSS has a commitment to continuous process improvement. We search for cost-effective ways to improve our facilities, services, and staff skills. We respond to a changing environment in innovative ways and provide leadership and planning to make optimum use of emerging technologies.
