Maurices is a subsidiary of The Dress Barn, Inc. which was founded in 1962 by Roslyn and Elliot Jaffe. The company operates principally under the names "Dress Barn" and "Dress Barn Woman," in 800+ stores offering in-season, moderate to better quality career and casual fashion to the working woman at value prices.
Maurices IT mission is to support the company by providing critical systems and support for all Maurices departments acting as true business partners. We provide appropriate retail systems in a timely and cost effective manner.
Maurices IT provides state of the art client/server systems to our end users. We do this by internally developing systems as well as installing vendor software packages. We are connected by an extensive LAN to IBM compatible PC's and have a variety of Unix and NT servers. Our wide area network involves communicating with our 700+ store's point of sale computers.
