The Duluth Area CIO Consortium (DACC) is a group of chief information officers (CIOs) in the greater Duluth region. The chief information officer for an organization leads the staff who provide support for information technology resources within the organization. Members of DACC lead units that provide internal support to their organizations.
DACC was founded in July, 1998. The first meeting was convened by Andrew Lucero of Minnesota Power/Allete, whose vision led to the establishment of this organization. Errol Niemi of Minnesota Power/Allete served as our facilitator from 1998 until 2006.
